ASTATICA is a leading post-production and film production company based in Malaysia. We specialize in delivering high-quality visual effects, editing, and production services for films, commercials, and digital content.

Founded by Alvin Seah in September 2013, ASTATICA specializes in the arts and science of filmmaking, visual effects (VFX), 3D / 2D animation, and post-production. The company is known for its innovative and fresh approach to storytelling and visual creation.

DID YOU KNOW?
The name ASTATICA is an antonym (opposite) of the word “static”, which means active, dynamic and moving.

Motion Graphics Artist

Ali is a motion graphics artist who works with animation, audio, and visual effects to create moving content and graphics for various media, such as television, the internet, and film.

Alvin Seah

Founder / Creative Director

Alvin sets the creative direction for the team and looks after the quality control of our craft. He is also the in-house Film Director and supervises the CG / post-production process.

Asraf bin Mazlan

3D Generalist

Asraf is responsible for designing and creating 3D animations for a variety of projects. His area of expertise is to design and build 3D assets, textures and style frames.

Brandon Chai

Executive Producer

With over 24 years of experience in audio / visual production with global advertising agencies & post-production companies, he has solid post-production knowledge, project management & interpersonal skills.

Daniel Kwan

Business Development

Experienced executive producer with a demonstrated history of working in the motion pictures & film industry. Strong entrepreneurship skills & professional in photography, video editing, music videos, feature films & business development.

Engku Ehsan

Senior Offline Editor / Colorist

He crafts compelling stories with his precision editing skills and brings out the emotions of the films in colour grading.

Finance Executive

Kristina looks after all our financial matters and makes sure all our business transactions are checked and balanced.

Leong Wai Woh

Lead Flame Artist

Passionate and experienced Flame Artist with over 20 years of experience in post-production. He is meticulous with great attention-to-details & a productive individual who is committed to executing each project with client's satisfaction in mind.

Lim Wei Xing

3D Generalist

From 3D meta-humans to creatures, animals and mascots, he brings them to life with his expressive animation skills.

Nadia Nabilah

Nadia takes care of all human-resources related matters to make sure that all the employees' affairs are well taken care of and in proper order.
