An experimental animation initiated by one of very own CG artist, SK KAi. Here’s some Q&A with the artist himself, an insight into his mind space:
1. Tell us about yourself and your role in ASTATICA.
SK: I am Lim Shi Kai from ASTATICA and I’m a CG generalist.
2. What inspired you to create this and what do you hope to achieve with it?

3. Can you please tell us about your process and the challenges you face?

But I wanted to create something more than that, so I started to find some references > storyboard planning > CG animation > liquid simulation > choices of camera lenses > lighting test > render test > online compositing > final render.
4. If you have another chance to do this, how would you do it differently?

5. Any final advice to all your fans out there?
SK: I got no fans la
